Question
Can I use the library if I'm not a student or staff member at USU?
Answer
Answer
On-campus Access to Databases and E-books
Members of the public have access to almost all of our electronic resources while on campus, including:
• e-journals
• e-books
• article databases
You can access these from the public computers in the library.
Books and other Print Materials
To check out books, you can purchase a General Public Library Card for $25/year. This allows you to check out up to 10 books for 3 weeks at a time. To purchase a General Public Library Card, please go to the Help & Checkout Desk on the 1st floor.
Off-campus Access
Licensing requires us to restrict off-campus database access to current, degree-seeking students, staff, and faculty members. Unfortunately, we don’t have any flexibility to offer off-campus access to alumni, spouses of employees, or continuing education (non-degree credits) for electronic resources.
