How can USU Alumni use the Merrill-Cazier Library?

Answer

More details, including grace periods for new graduates, are at Alumni Using USU Libraries.

On-campus Access

USU Alumni have access to almost all electronic resources while on campus, including:
•    e-journals
•    e-books
•    article databases
You can access these from the public computers in the library, located on the first floor of the library.

Borrowing Books, etc.

USU Alumni who set up a no-cost Alumni library account (using your A#) are allowed to check out physical books or other materials. The Alumni card allows for 10 items to be checked out at a time for three weeks. Alumni cards are available at the Alumni Center.

Off-campus Access

Licensing requires us to restrict off-campus database access to current students, staff, and faculty members. Unfortunately, we don’t have any flexibility to offer off-campus access to alumni or spouses of employees for electronic resources.

Utah residents have full access to Utah's Online Library through your local public library. The collection includes 50+ article databases, including many of the same EBSCOhost databases available at the USU Library. These databases cover medical, legal, history, business, history, and literature topics among many other areas, including online newspapers and K-12 resources.
