Yes! You may request a book to be retrieved from the shelf and held for you to pick up at the Circulation Desk.
Please allow 2 days for the request to be processed. The book will be held for you at the Circulation Desk for 7 days.
Example
Alex is in Logan and wants to checkout the book Les Misérables. They search the catalog and see there is a copy available. Rather than go find it on the shelf, they want have it waiting for them at the Circulation Desk of the Merrill-Cazier Library.
To Request Pickup at Merrill-Cazier Library
- Find the item you want in the Library Catalog.
- Click Place hold.
- Sign in with your A-number and password.
- Select Merrill-Cazier Circulation Desk First Floor.
- Click the Place hold button to submit the request.
Alex will receive an email when the book is ready to be picked up from the Circulation Desk. It will be held there for 7 days.
