USU Libraries receives the weekly Sunday editions of the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News. These are available on the 2nd floor north of the New Books Lounge. The Salt Lake Tribune and the Deseret News discontinued their daily print editions in January 2021.
The Salt Lake Tribune used to print the New York Times and Wall Street Journal locally, and the Merrill-Cazier Library was able to receive the print editions of both. Because the Salt Lake Tribune no longer prints a daily paper, we had to cancel both the New York Times and Wall Street Journal print subscriptions.
All current USU students, staff, faculty, and emeritus faculty can now access New York Times online content via the New York Times Campuswide Access Program.
