Faculty may arrange for a student (such as a teaching assistant) to borrow books and library materials on their behalf. Both the faculty member and student must come to the Checkout Desk in the library to set up a proxy account.

Proxy borrowing privileges enable the student to check out items using their own card, but the items will appear on a separate "proxy" account.
